چکیده

نوخاسته­ گرایی ویژگی­ها علی‌رغم پذیرش حالات، قوا و علیت ذهنی، منکر جوهر مجرد نفس/ذهن است و نهایتاً حالات ذهنی را ویژگی­هایی نوخاسته از شبکه و سیستم فیزیکی-عصبی بدن معرفی می­کند و گرچه حالات ذهنی را به بدن و اجزا و خودِ این شبکه فروکاهش نمی­دهد ولی آن‌ها را در ایجاد و استمرار وجود خود، وابسته به تعاملات سیستم عصبی و شبکه­ای اجزای بدن می­داند. نوخاسته‌گرایان ویژگی­ها در مورد ارادة آزاد، به دو دسته تقسیم می­شوند: عده­ای آن را یک ویژگی برآمده و نوخاسته از کل سیستم عصبی و شبکه اجزای بدن می­دانند و عده­ای دیگر علی‌رغم پذیرش سایر ویژگی‌های ذهنی منکر وجود ارادة آزاد هستند و صرفاً آن را توهم می­دانند. این در حالی است که در فلسفة اسلامی با توجه به وجود اراده به اثبات نفس مجرد پرداخته ‌شده است. هدف این پژوهش طرح هر دو ادعای نوخاسته­ گرایی ویژگی­ها در مورد ارادة آزاد، و ارزیابی آن با روش تحلیلی، استدلالی و میان­رشته­ای با نگاهی به استدلال­های فلسفة اسلامی بر جوهر مجرد نفس از طریق اراده است؛ و پس از نقد هر دو ادعای نوخاسته‌گرایان ویژگی­ها و نیز نقد و تقویت ادلة فلاسفة اسلامی، نتیجتاً با استدلال­هایی برتر و با یافته ­های علمی روز، به اثبات جوهر مجرد نفس از طریق وجود ارادة آزاد می­رسد.
